Cozumel Restaurante in Brunswick

We really love Cozumel. The staff goes above and beyond. We love the tortilla soup and the fajitas! Whatever you get here will be worthy of 5 stars. We come here all the time for the food, service and price.

The meals were good and the service fast. One minor complaint is the guacamole... I thought it needed a bit more onion and lime juice (and maybe salt). It was kind of flat.

Great food, festive service, what else can you ask for !

Food was amazing, had chorizo tacos, fajitas and margaritas. I ordered the pineapple marg and it was actually served in a hollowed out pineapple with the pieces presented beautifully on a plate. Service was great and they were attentive, served exactly what was ordered.

Great place! The food is great! Pitchers of margaritas a bit pricy, but very good. And the staff are really friendly and attentive. It's a little out of our way, but we drive past a competitor to come here.

Great food and service. We got there just before busy time today and they were pretty packed before we left, strong drinks and fast service. Can't beat it

This place is awesome. The food is great and the prices are very reasonable. I ordered the carnitas dinner and it was wonderful. There pork was most and everything was so fresh. I would definitely go back.

Best Mexican restaurant I've ever been to. Mexican cuisine is my favorite and I am one who searches out Mexican restaurants whenever I travel anywhere. I am here to tell you that this is IT! The Holy grail you've been searching for! The white whale! I travel to this area once a year for a three day show and I eat there three nights in a row. I think about it all year long. It's incredible. Just go! You won't regret it!

Always impressed with this location. During these carryout times, their food is great as always AND the Togo drinks are so much better than made at home slushied.

One of my favorite dishes to try at a Mexican restaurant I’ve never been to is the Camarones a la diabla. Spice and heat are my go to, so naturally, this typical dish has it all if done right. I’ve heard a lot of good things about this place and was disappointed by my meal. The sauce was bland and the shrimp had no flavor. The meal comes with tortillas and I never use them, but I was forced to this time around. The service was good and I enjoyed the outdoor patio and that’s still important. But I’d try something different if I went back.

Excellent 👍 and authentic food

Our waiter must have been having a bad day. He was very abrupt with us, really not wanting to spend anytime answering questions about the menu. Food was good, not great.

I always get good service here, and my food is always consistently good. The atmosphere is typical of a mexican restaurant, and the servers are always pleasant. They are willing to embarrass you on your birthday, if desired. The restaurant and bathrooms are clean.

Absolutely love this place! My family goes here all the time! I’ve been to Cozumel, Mexico and it makes me feel like I’m actually there. You can tell the workers there are very close and they all have a sense of humor. The prices are amazing considering how much of their delicious food they give you. Their plates are easily shareable. I highly suggest going here.

Great service, really fast and polite; 5 stars all day. The food isn't great though, 3 stars unfortunately. Just tastes like off-the-shelf canned tomato sauce with budget ingredients. Nothing wrong with that, but not a reason to come back

The food was great and it came out quicker than any restaurant I've ever been too. The host was a nice lady and the atmosphere was really authentic. Definitely the best Mexican restaurant in the brunswick area. HOWEVER today the waiter lost his cool when I asked him if I could have a side of sour cream. I get it, everyone has a bad day but he should really be able to keep his composure better around customers!

I paid $4.50 for the smallest bowl of guacamole that I've ever seen in my life and I paid $22 and change for a pitcher of margaritas that did not even give us four full glasses. I would not recommend this place I will not go back the experience was terrible

Very good food. Good service. Didn't have to wait. Price was about average. Was close to home which is great.

Quick Service, and great tasting food.

Terribly slow service. Dirty tables, chairs & floor. Food was fair - found the entire stem/head of a green pepper in my burrito & the burrito was basically sitting in a puddle of water from the lettuce & tomatoes that were on top - clearly not drained/dried properly. Will not be going back there again, very disappointing!

It was our first time coming here. It literally tasted the same as any dish I've had at any other Mexican restaurant, except it costs more. They have a quite a bit of options on the menu, which is ironically the same menu other Mexican restaurants use as well.

Excellent Mexican food. Comfortable environment. Nice outdoor seating that is extremely wheelchair accessible for both my Mom and mother-in-law. Really friendly and attentive staff. Very reasonable prices and extremely generous portions.

Really nice place, must order the quest, it came out hot, it was very thick and held on the chip...Had the Cozumel fajitas for one, had six huge shrimp on it, ask for salt and pepper. Service was exceptional. Salsa was very good.

Great food friendly staff it's a great place for lunch

You would think that every Mexican restaurant would be pretty much the same: same menus, same drinks, etc. Not so at Cozumel. Sure, they have the basics, but they also have many dishes that you may not find elsewhere. And if you're a fan of salsas, theirs is pretty great. Especially their green tomatillo sauce, which is fresh and amazing. They have a great staff and the food arrives quickly, even when they're busy. Highly recommended if you're looking for Mexican in Brunswick.

Very pleased with our first visit to Cozumel! Food was delicious, and the service was fast and friendly! The chunky guacamole was a winner, as was the fruit sangria!

NEVER order from here on Cinco De Mayo. Ordered at 4, was told it would be ready at 445. Got there at 445 and had 40 ppl waiting in front of me, at 615 STILL had 20 in front of me. Waited from 445-615 at the restaurant to pickup my food for nothing. No way I was waiting another 1.5 hours for my food. Completely unorganized. Beyond disappointed. Will not be back.

Great food. The portions have a good size. The service is fast and the people really friendly.I went with people from work and even if we were like 10 people, the food got fast, everything delicious.Highly recommend!!

Warm chips and salsa, great servers, great menu, excellent food. I don't want everyone to overcrowd this place....oops. foot in mouth.I have been coming here at least 3 times a week for the past year. It has yet to even make a mistake, I hope they do someday, so I can see how they resolve it, in the meantime. Perfect everytime. Updated

The food is always hot and delicious; everyone is kind and relaxed. Great place for any event...beware the 3 house hot sauces- unbelievable.

Service was fast and friendly, and the restaurant was very clean. The strawberry daiquiri that I ordered had nearly no flavor and very large chunks of ice in it. The Burrito ala Diablo had two bites with almost ALL of the seasonings in them. Maybe it was an off night for the chef?The prices weren't bad, however, I'm not sure if I will be back to give the restaurant another try. I have enough other options in Medina County for Mexican food that I can be picky.

Keep an eye on the bill. After a few Patron Margaritas they attepted to switch to a cheaper brand and charge premium patron price. Had to confront them. It was not a good situation. Called next day to speak to manager and was hung up on. Bottom line its stealing. Also, while waiting for the table they took my phone number. Keep in mind I was standing outside 10 feet away. I missed the call. I immediately called em back no answer. So I go inside and explain i called and did not get an answer. The lady said yeah because I ignored the call. To the end of the line we went. Care free take it our leave it service. Will never suggest this place. PS nasty bathrooms.

Most of the staff did not wear a mask or barely wore it during a time of State mandated mask requirements due the COVID-19 Pandemic. The hostess wore hers around her chin, then later took it off to talk to the waiters for awhile, the bartender didn’t have one on at all when we went by, our waiter and another outside didn’t even cover their nose. It was a cool evening, so heat wasn’t an issue. The tables were NOT 6 feet apart either. Customers were not required to wear any mask inside the restaurant either. Several people were complaining. Shame on them!

I love Cozumel! I've been going there for years. Their staff is very friendly and upbeat. Food and margaritas are also delicious. My favorites are the quesadilla fajita and the shrimp tacos. Also love the raspberry margs!

The food is absolutely amazing. If you can eat it all, I almost dare you. Honestly, it's not because of the amount that they give you, it is because of the flavor. It is amazing. Warm tortillas with salsa greet you. The waiters are friendly and efficient. A great place to eat.
